Thread regarding Weatherford International Ltd. layoffs

Where is the Safety guy?

No one knows where the safety representatives are. They need to take control before there is a accident. Luck is not on our side when it comes to being safe. Accidents will happen we need to be aware before there is a problem.

Remember one day we burned a tank of gas and looked at lakes and birds-truth.

I don't know where you are at but YES safety has a price and WFT has proven in many facilities that when it's slow there is zero attention or spend on proactive safety. React on an injury and hopefully only with a broom to sweep it under the carpet. Corod manufacturing in Edmonton is a prime example. Just a matter of time until someone is dead.... not injured. Staff are reporting serious hazards to a deaf manager and safety dept. The staff need jobs but are keeping copies and keeping track so when it does happen it will be a very simple job for the staff members families lawyer.
