My job was replaced by an NCG H1B visa. So, there you have it. BK is a big abuser of this.

In Hillsboro majority laid off were us citizens while majority hired foreign born, intel is a huge user and abuser of H1b

Most of the ones let go are all older and us citizens and will be replaced by cheaper foreigners so no wonder BK against the Trump

I was wondering from the get-go if ACT was really about downsizing or about getting rid of older employees. Intel is still recruiting and hiring like crazy among URMs and RCGs. My DIL got a recruitment contact today, in fact.

Out with the old experienced but more highly compensated and higher benefit burden and in with younger and cheaper.

B$ about making any structural adjustment for new world order. They could have easily moved the older workforce into new roles but much easier to fire them and hire new cheaper workforce who don't know better.
