I heard that several District Managers at Kmart were let go today and they realigned the districts and regions.

Just wondering what all those DM's are thinking now. Do they still believe the lies and b.s they have been telling us for years about transformation, owning it, SYW and such?
When the store count goes from thousands
To hundreds , there isn't a lot of room left at the top.
If these folks were hanging around waiting for some last minute miracle , that would speak volumes on their level of intelligence and lack of foresight .
I'd be interested in hearing about Sears AP? No great loss from my store.

I heard that most DM would be let go and that the regional managers would take control within a year. The reason is that the Simple Store concept would make the DM obsolete. I dont know how true this is but it makes sense that the DM's would be let go because the Simple store is self regulating
@dwn I work for Sears too & we had the regional person in as well. Acting b*itchy to the cashiers about some backroom stock that they have nothing to do with and she was telling some lies on the phone about the 5321 program. I hope she got called to the Hoffman Estates. Even if she was having a bad day, the way she was treating store staff was awful.
Hope it wasn't our DM. He is really great and supportive.
Did a Kmart RVP get canned? Any idea what DM's?
I work for Sears and I know the regional manager was in stores doing visits yesterday and they were called to say stop all your visits and return to Hoffman Estates immediately
