Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

So, Honeywell, how do you feel about bringing jobs back?

It's time to bring the jobs back. I noticed that Honeywell was missing at the President Trump's meeting with CEO's.

Unlike the prior president, this one wants a strong United States.

You can read the agreement yourself. If you don't want to hear it from the left you can find plenty of right-wing news sources that will tell you the same thing. It was all in the news when this story of the agreement first came out. If you don't choose to learn anything new, that is your problem. Purposeful ignorance. I'm not going to waste my time doing a simple web search for you because you are too lazy.

Just like Trump, you are taking a stand on something you haven't even read.

I realize there is more than one person in these posts, however I'm asking you to back your claim. I certainly do not condone theft.

You need to stop watching the fake liberal news. Lol.

So you think it's OK to just steal money from an entire nation and not return it, ever? Is that a GOP/Trump value?

You should realize you have more than one person involved in these posts.

Show proof. Just like the media. Maybe if you say it enough times some people will think it's true. But at the end of the day, it should never been given to that country.

The money was frozen so it was unused and yes it was theirs not yours. There was no right to freeze that money in the first place.

The money our last president "gave" to Iran was actually their own money that had been withheld or virtually stolen by the U.S. It was owed to them.

The U.S. puppet Shah stole the entire treasury from Iran when he fled to the U.S. Why do you think those people are mad at us?

That last president really dug us into a hole. He gave Iran almost 2 BILLION dollars in cash right before leaving office. They took the money and are laughing at us all. That president projected weakness to the entire world.

That's fecking funny - the only thing he wants is stronger balance in his bank accounts.

Don't get me wrong; I actually liked most of the foreign associates I worked with. I don't blame them personally for just trying to have a career & raise a family.

It wouldn't surprise me that the Honeywell workers cycled in from other nations don't get paid well nor get much benefit/protection. A former Chinese associate told me the work they get at their facility was "crap work" and he wasn't thrilled. The site I worked with him at pretty much had "crap work" for everybody (all that's left).

So in the end, everybody gets crapped on by the greedy corporations, anyway. So we're all rained on together! Trump & Golden Sacks will make sure worker protections & benefits go further down the drain, even without H1-B visas.

Trump should pass a law that enforces equal pay for equal work. Foreign workers who use a visa to work in the us must be paid at market wages verified by taxes due at time worker exits or every 90 days whichever is shorter. No minimum on days worked and flows down to all subs and foreign companies. This can be tied to giving foreigners the same rights as usa workers... which is the point of the whole legal stuff around the travel ban today. Also provides additional tax revenue from companies rich enough to import labor. I am not afraid of corporate flight.

Actually, not all the labor that comes across from other parts of the world is cheap. There are a few of us that pay more US taxes than a good % of locals, worry yodon't let that worry you. We get even less protection than locals and no severance when it's our time leave 😉

They are bringing jobs to this country. They're bringing in HON salary workers from India, China, Czech Republic, Puerto Rico, and wherever else they can hire cheap help. They cycle them in for 3-6 months, then send them back and write all the expenses of their travel, lodging etc. off of their taxes, which then is being subsidized by American taxpayers who have to make up the money taken by Honeywell and not being spent & kept in this country.

OH, YOU MEAN EMPLOY AMERICANS? SILLY YOU! Trump is part of the 1%, don't you know?
