I think you all need to shut up and work if you weren't affected! It's not hard to make 5 contacts a day and basically sit in your pajamas worki

So the SNP DIALER nurse Metric is 5 a day but whats involved in a successful call is astounding: review the mdat, update med list (most members have 15- 20 meds on average), complete question 1-11 on comp survey, complete HEIDIS screening, address members ACTUAL issues and concerns, complete required 3way calls and referrals for ICT. And just pray it's not a translator call cause it takes twice as long. Most calls average 45 mins, if your lucky you get a healthy member and can knock it out in 30, doesn't happen most days. Now yo document and 9 times out of 10 it's an existing CP, you have 39 minutes otherwise you won't make metric for the day. 39 mins for call and 39 mins to document. But let's remind everyone this is a special needs plan so instead your getting the COPD, diabetic heart failure patients who were just discharged with lots of needs. I work late EVERY Day, most days I miss breaks and lunch and still miss metric. But hey ANYONE can do this job right, I am just over here complaining for nothing cuz I get to sit here in my PJs and eat bon bons right... PLEASE

Not to support the starter of this thread, but when you are done making your 5 contacts, can you share what your role is? Given the postings of people about their metrics, NO ONE has a productivity standard of 5.... perhaps you'll be fired next, because you doing your job isn't even coming close to the bare minimum expected.

We may have not been affected, but we could be. You must be Mike Frank or one of his minions. We are dealing with these changes also.

HILARIOUS!!!! Totally a troll....most likely Mikey Franky Boy or a com!!! BS "5" a day! Mike Frank couldn't last a week in our jobs. He'd probably stroke out under pressure. He can't even do his "Hair Color for Men" correctly and maintain it!!! Do you think he could maintain metrics?? He's just good at whipping people and bringing them down with his condescending communications. Go back to your hole troll!!!

Who are you telling us to shut up. We do have freedom of speech. Plus I for one am on a break not during my work time. We have legitimate concerns that have been brought up many times if you would read the posts many many of us like and appreciate our jobs here and would like to stay on But morale is low. Pressure is high to make the metrics. If so many of us are saying this why isn't the top brass trying to help. The hcm rns are quite often the ones who smooth over angry members or help address their multiple needs and thus we give the company a good name. We should be listened to not treated like robots who should just shut up. And no I do not ever sit in my pjs. I get dressed and treat this like the real job it is. Please stay off this site unless you can do some real listening to our real concerns whoever you are.

If everyone hates their job....why do you stay and subject yourself to it? I would quit if I was that unhappy

Hah was profitable well before MF. MF came in and changed how we do business from contacting a percentage of the roster to daily contacts. Unfortunately people have been getting contacts and still not meeting percentages need by the regions. Mike Fracks poor decision is driving this. They need to let use go back to managing our roosters to hit a percentage agreed upon by the regions. We are professional and if people don't meet percentages, deal with that. But leave those of us who do our jobs and do them well alone. HaH lost tons of money due to Heids measures not being met in 2015. The problem was the poor systems not identifying gaps, not the HCMRNs!!!

Sorry but if you don't agree with the fact we need this place to vent, then this is not a place for you. Let us all be respectful to each other. If I was not affected this time around, I can be affected tomorrow so we are trying to find answers because we are not getting them when we asked MF yesterday. We are working and we are working hard, I think being a bully does not help anyone.

Please refrain from the judgements and negativity. People are looking for answers in a confusing and scary time. Telling them to shut up and do their job isn't the answer, or solution. If your job is 5 contacts and pjs, good for you, other people have other expectations for their jobs.

You know, there are many of us who lost our jobs. We all were hired due to our capabilities. I have over a decade exoerience and two graduate level degrees. There is no way to truly know why these choices were made. As a professional I'm not taking it personally. As a human with a community of co-workers/friends, it is a huge loss on both career and community side. One day I had a job and tuition reimbursement, now I suddenly don't. It's not an easy thing to go through and negative comments and telling people what to do help none of us and makes a difficult situation even harder. A lot of us are on here due to loss, confusion, and fear. Please refrain from kicking people when they're down. Those of you saying just do the metrics, it's not hard, may one day find yourself in our shoes, and realize it isn't metric related. I don't wish it upon anyone, but please don't be condescending bullies and allow professionals the venue they need to vent, try to find answrrs, and try to find security during a highly unstable time.

Without MF Hah would not be profitable and wouldn't exist at all! The changes were made because of CMS not MF. Now wonder you guys can't meet your metrics your in here instead of working. Stop complaining and looking for excuses as to why you can't meet them and get them done. #excuses

What job only has to do 5 contacts? I'd love to know, try 10+ successful, with 15-20 UTC a day, plus med lists, surveys, care plans and detailed note with each call. And that's with meetings eating up 1.5hours of your day several times a week. Researching your own resources and doing your own follow-up on what the member needs (not counted in talk time since it's internet research!!) And multiple calls to pharmacy, CS, doctor offices etc!!!

I have been here for 2 plus years as a HCM RN. I have not seen anything thrown our way that is to much to ask of us. We get to basically build our own schedule around our daily needs such as doctors appointments, kids, and any other situations that may come up! The place I worked at before this required 10 contacts a day so calling 20 to 30 members in an 8 hour shift is not impossible.

And what job at Humana do you do? On the 3 years previous to the layoff, never had it that easy. I'd love to apply for the job you're describing.
