Has anyone heard of when the second round of closure announcements will be?

False. The majority of Kmart Zone AP managers were already let go. 90% of the Sears AP Market and Zone Managers stayed on board and absorbed the Kmart stores in their markets. I don't know where the heck you're getting your info from.

Nope. It is the Kmart AP that are taking the lead with the Sears AP joining Kmart

RE: @LGqayY6-1sop

You have that backwards. The majority of the Kmart AP field leadership was let go. Sears AP absorbed their stores.

My store was in the last round of closing on Dec 27,2016. We will close in March.

Oregon is increasing minimum wedge on July 1st. The standard rate will be $10.25 but the Metro area (Portland) will be $11.25. Their is one Sears in downtown Portland, and two in the surrounding towns of Tigard and Clackamas that many consider the Metro area. it would not surprise me if the Oregon Sears and Kmarts are already slated to be closed but it has not yet been announced yet. The recent history showed that they like to reduce pay and perks to employees. It will come as no surprise my store that is in the top 100 is announced to be closed.

I have heard they're planning on leaving only the midwest stores open...

Oh and I forgot to mention the minimum wage in Washington is $11/ hr and going up to close to that in Oregon. Also Oregon and Washington require 40 hrs of paid sick time for part and full time. I can't imagine the Pacific Northwest is making much money for the company, at least on the Kmart side

I agree, at this point pulling out of whole states or regions might end up happening. There are only 7 Kmart stores in the state of Oregon and less then that in Idaho. Maybe it's time to call it quits in the Pacific Northwest.

It will be in the next month, probably right after 4th quarter earnings announcement.

I wonder with the second round of closures, SHC will pull out of whole states where very very few stores remain.
