Yes, All the Service Managers here are still looking over their departments. They yet have to hire replacements. Everyone just got an email today, offering $50 gift cards for new hires. their about 20 FT opening in my store. 3 are only for my department, I have been the only Lumber associate for pass 9 months.

The only change is your sorry asses are getting more money and the rest of us are continuing to work hard, and keeping the stores running. Don't think so bozos? Try and run your store for one day without PT workers. Cheap a-- Lowe's.

If these managers are supposed to be the best, then this country is screwed. Lowe's just hires the

"yes" men and punishes the people who actually question the b---s--- and work the hardest. Lowe's is company for losers. I can't wait for Lowe's to slip further behind Home Depot. I'm going to Home Depot and will dog out Lowe's to them...I hope I have some info. HD wants that I can use to d--k over Lowe's.

I messaged on here ways to get out of doing work using policy and job description for the CSA5, and it has since been removed. I guess they don't want that info being shared. To paraphrase: read your new job description, and be aware of what you have to do per that. They always include "other duties as required", but realize they have to first require you to do those things. Verbal direction doesn't have to be 100% followed, make them take the time to write it in a work list. Also, realize that their work lists will probably be fairly unspecific as they will claim you already know how to do it. However, don't give them the benefit of the doubt, it is okay to only do as much as the work list says. Don't take initiative.

I visited my old store today. The ASMs who survived the cut are still hiding the back office. I thought under the new staffing model they were supposed to be on the floor most of the time. I spoke with an ex DM who did not make the cut. She is riding out her year walking around talking to customers. She was told by the SM that she cannot perform any of her old duties. That is the opposite of what you have been told. She also said the new seasonal hires are already jaded. They see what is happening. Most of them are not trying and are just collecting their checks until they find a better job elsewhere. The people on the floor believe specialists will be the next to be let go, within months. Even if this is not true, the mindset of who is next has destroyed store morale.

Your reply proves why this joke is so true and brutal. What does a CSA5 and a Lowe's Promotion have in common? 12 months, no interest.

Nope. I will not do any of my old department manager duties. Those are being done by the specialists or other CSA's. I no longer go above and beyond. If they ask me to do something I do it. If not I leave it.. This company has sh-- on me too many times to give a f---. I'll collect my salary for a year and my spiff money. Do as little as possible then go part time.. Be the highest paid part timer.
