Not taking a stand against Immigration Ban?!?

Why hasn't Cisco taken a stand against the Immigration Ban? 97 companies are standing against it and Cisco isn't. WTF? Is this a "We [again] cannot make up our mind?" or Is it because the boards and councils are still thinking about it?

Its better for Cisco to stay away from politics. Trump is a fool. He is all talk and no action. Courts will stop him at every step and he will look like buffoon. Hope some sane minds prevail intrump administration and let him work for betterment of Americans.

Anyways Trump can still stop issuing visas. He doesn't need any executive order. He just have to tell US embassies to reject majority of visa application for frivolous reasons. US embassies have been doing same thing with L1B application for Indian outsourcing companies. Their rejection rate is as high as 60%. Obama is smart and he does things silently.

Chucky can't be seen to oppose anything in the Trump administration in case it angers the H1B gods and he has to hire Americans and pay them a proper wage! So, just keep your head down and your mouth shut.

Trump will get his revenge by cancelling all work visas including H1Bs.

You yanks make me laugh. Firstly Cisco is just another company. It has no clout. I doubt whether Trump cares what these tech companies say.

Secondly why is this a shock? Trump talked about banning Muslims...building a wall throughout his campaign etc. etc. He was voted in. The only shock is that he's a politician doing what he said he would do.

Thirdly....democracy is a great thing unless you lose. Then suddenly democracy stinks. Fact is your country voted for him. Live with it.

Why should they? The relevant part of immigration is the coming H-1B discussion and it may be smart for Cisco to focus on that particular area. And Cisco's customer base are companies, not consumers; they don't have to please the expectation of affluent, "liberal" city dweller to buy/use their products/services.

Chambers political ambitions might be thwarted. Chuck thinks he is being clever doing this. Will keep trying to have relationship trying to thwart foreign corrupt act violations. Cheaper than paying the Clintons 5 M.

Chuck and the ELT aren't going to do ANYTHING that might upset Das Fuhrer. Cisco needs to get that mound of overseas $ repatriated back to the USA so they can buy back stock and grease wall street. If that means shutting up about the H1B controversy...that is what they will do.

Maybe because the ban is temporary until a vetting process is defined?

Don't you have something better to do snowflake?
