I keep saying that AMD's turnaround this time is real. They have a real CEO who has a history of kicking butt, at her former companies she led.
Intel's processor domination isn't going anywhere, BUT AMD is going to take some marketshare away. That scrappy $2.50/share company is going a lot higher than it's current almost $14/share price....
AMD has already hit rock bottom, any mildly successful Ryzen launch that takes some (even if small) marketshare away from Intel will be good news.
AMD has already hit rock bottom also in the GPU space.. With the Vega launch, any additional market share away from Nvidia will be positive.
Nvidia and Intel, already having a large market share in their markets, have nowhere to go but down.
Same thing happened to Broadcom who dominated the connectivity chip market.. Qualcomm slowly chipped away at connectivity despite having very little marketshare at the time in connectivity.
