Thread regarding Sears layoffs

Technicians are leaving left and right

The moral is horrible with all the compliance stuff. The unbelievable demanding nature on sales. I've only been here for a couple of years and just can't believe how this company has lost total focus. Repairing customer appliances and making them happy is the business model...not anymore.

It has become the least of their worries. It's constant questioning of the technicians and what they do. Technicians are not trusted...but we trust them when it comes to sales only. 10-15 calls a day...get ahead...get more. Tech runs ahead calls are added...run behind...no one cares.

Technicians are leaving left and right. I have never seen a company that treats their employees so poorly. Don't perform the way they want you to...hours cut...or lay off.
