Flushing money down the toilet is the QRY way. Wasting food and product is the norm. Leadership is run on fear and character assassination. I just keep quiet and busy and make that money while they keep arranging the deck-chairs on a sinking ship.

Christy seems to think that by getting rid of longtime TMs the store morale will improve. No, the competitor's store that ex TM goes to will! The store has bottomed out so bad... 1 out of 4 new hires can't last to their first paycheck and quit, being thrown in to the chaos with little to no training. Hard working part timers have no loyalty when it comes down to better opportunities.

The good thing about longtime TMs looking for work is - our former STLs and ASTLs and TLs have good positions with WFM's competition and remember you. Giving notice was the best decision I've made in a decade!

As long as Coach is behind the scenes, pulling the strings and calling all the shots the Quarry is immortal.

Holy water and wooden spikes may be necessary.

The Quarry's newest STL has a few rules to help with the sinking sh-t show.

1) not a single mention of the core values since taking over

2) no more recycling or composting.

3) more food waste than ever. Our dumpster company drivers told me the QRY is their most frequent customer.

4) embarrass, demoralize, bully, and write-ups long-time TMs for ANYTHING (name tag, missed a log, smile not genuine, etc)

5) no more training. 4 days after hire, new TMs sink or swim. The new TMs and part-timers ARE the training.

6) put incompetent people into positions of power. Put leaders in your PFDS dept that don't know what quinoa is. Or tofu. Or nitrates. Or that pasta water needs to be hot to cook pasta. All true stories.

7) cease all effective pest control so opening shifts are referred to as "roachkilling shifts", and rat sightings are growing again. A health dept. visit is eminent.

8) when addressing the store, use a lot of "feelsy" words like "vibes" and "safe space" and talk the WFM hippie talk, but then tell service and cashiers to "gradually lower the guests expectations " about products we no longer carry.

9) keep preaching the culture of "no excuses" when TMs respond to queries of "what happened". It makes approaching with a problem very intimidating.
