Since the big changes have come into play we have had the new managers that really have no idea what it takes to be a manager except to be very bossy. There is a difference in being a jerk and being a good manager and from what I have experience in my store, some of the new managers have become complete jerks with swelled heads and exaggerated egos. It's a sad situation. Having jerk managers is how things can start to fall apart. So, to all you swell headed managers that may be reading this, lose the ego, and be a LEADER....not a jerk. If you want to gain respect from your subordinates, then give them respect. Otherwise, maybe a prison guard may be a better fit occupation for you.

Stop trashing the service managers any of the displaced managers would have taken the position as well. The services managers were dumped into those positions they will learn just as the Asms did.Give them a chance they are not being paid as the Asms.
Those displaced mangers that think they are not doing too much or keep calling out they're only making it worse for themselves.
Sad thing is that the full time employees are the ones that care more about their jobs rather than many of the part timers who have other jobs and could care less. We have a new "manager" that is a complete d--k. He is rude and lazy. The other day he handed a person a handful of trash and said to throw it away as he walked right by the trashcan the employee threw it in. Problem is, I'm finding it hard to just sit back and watch this prick treat people with so little respect. He's far from management material.
They have started instituting a policy of watching us on camera of when we go to the bathroom and how long we take. The Asm called someone into the office and told them they were taking to long in the bathroom. I can see if the employee was someone who was lazy they would have a point. But sorry I feel like big brother is watching us at all times. Sounds creepy if you ask me. They have a bunch of s---s ups who have gotten these new positions who now are paid snitches. Don't trust management at all. There trying to get rid of all the full time employees. They wrote a guy up for clocking in 12 minutes early. Wtf
Some will. There will be plenty of adjustments. The reason they gave a year for the department managers who didn't get a spot was to expose the weak. Weak store managers pick their friends not best for job and they will crack. We have a women that has ZERO ability to handle 3 departments. She isn't there. She doesn't have any direction. Her only act was a walk list. It's sad but I wait and watch them struggle. They will struggle if they are not management type.
