Who even knew that Sears sold Trump clothing? It is only listed on line as a marketplace sale,in my store there are no clothing or any items by Trump, I wonder how many Sears or Kmart shoppers even were aware they were on Sears.com.
Dropped? Or didn't pay their bills and got cut off?
If dropped, tough as Sears/KMarts demographics are probably about evenly split between baby boomers who are huge for Trump and the opposite end of the spectrum who are huge against him.
Wait..SHLD cares about sales? Since when?
That Facebook page. Combine that with mySears.com and there are some unhappy customers out there. I am glad I don't have to rely on Sears to come fix my appliances.
The mattress return policy is insane too. For a defective item you have to wait 30 days to return it, pay to have removed & pay a restocking fee. That has to be illegal. If you bought 1st quality merchandise, you should have received 1st quality merchandise.
I doubt very much that Sears dropped the products themselves as they were dropshipped items that never entered Sears warehouses.
I looked at the Sears facebook page, and there are hundreds of posts of people boycotting sears and cutting up their card, in response to sears making this political decision. I think it may hurt them as probably their rural and military customers wont go there anymore to a degree. That along with all the negative reviews of delivery and appliance repair issues on their page. I was already upset about the employee discount going bye bye and now this. I am done with shopping there, I have no reason to do so.
SHLD says that they dropped I. Trump's product line due to poor sales but it wouldn't suprise me at all if it was that I. Trump's company came and removed their products like so many other companies concerned about getting paid for their products if SHLD enters bankruptcy protection!!
