Wow, as a shopper and former 6 year grocery industry worker I was very impressed. Very clean, hairnets on damn near everyone, even ppl stocking shelves, smiling faces, demos everywhere. Didn't have time to comp prices but yeah it was pretty nice.
Still prefer Harris teeter though cause of the price, but still I walked away very impressed. The pharmacy was nice too.

Why does publix sell dr. Bronners peppermint soap and gt's kombucha for cheaper than us?? They compete with us on all comparable items yet these two really struck me..wfm is the biggest retail outlet in the country for these two companies and publix is beating us...sad!!..bigly sad!!

Publix is top notch. Never a bad experience there with the staff or the quality of the food. My experiences there say a lot to me about keeping a grocer privately owned.
Not a bad place to work if you don't mind uniforms and rules against facial hair/long hair on guys, tattoos and piercings. Wish they would modernize their dress code policy.
Hairnets?? Ah yes....love me some hairnets. I am hoping they had feather dusters in their back pocket too...did they do a chicken dance for you too? Did they stroke your ego as you walked by them?
I love it when "working class-folk" know their places when I the "guest" grace them with my presence.
P.S.- heavy sarcasm implied....I know I have issues!

The prices at Public aren't the lowest but the shopping environment, food quality, variety of choices, operations and logistics and customer service are top notch.
