Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

Do you know of anyone who has been promoted out of the department?

With increased productivity, there is no time for ANYTHING but contacting members. How do we build other skills to get promoted? Has anyone EVER left Humana at Home and been promoted in another department at Humana? Is this role a dead end?

I worked as a PHC and transferred out of HAH to the Humana office in Tampa, I had a wonderful career in national education before leaving due to an out of state move. It is important to fully understand roles applying too, there is great opportunity for growth.

I've been in the HCM RN role for 2 years and have seen 3 HCM RNs get promoted to coach. The 3 that were promoted were not good in their positions. No CPs, short calls, but they looked good on paper going above and beyond to get their numbers. They are the ones cracking the whip now and expecting their team to be efficient even when they were not. I would not want to be a coach and I am not working over 8 hours at a salary job to get my numbers. An email was leaked stating that Humana gets 75% more work out of us when we work at home. THIS HAS TO STOP! We have to work our 8 hours and turn it off. The only ones suffering are our family and those that do want to work a healthy work/life balance. Can the brown nosers/over achievers please stop ruining it for those of us that have a life!!

I don't personally know anyone, but I am sure it has happend. What I doubt is that we will get that chance. All of the coaches and their friends will have first dibs. You know the ones that kiss butt and work 10-12 hours a day to stand out. Sorry, my mother didn't teach me to be a butt kisser and it's a little too late to learn.

There is a lot of favoritism at HAH. People are picked for promotions.

At least before if it was a dead end, it was an okay place to work. Now it is stress city.
