I was told about a possible position but I was warned that the plant is in a high crime area. They said there's been murders and numerous robberies in the area and adjoin properties. If there is someone out there that can shed some light on the plant in Houston please.

There was a contractor working in the street that was cut in half by a speeding car. Very dangerous area even motorcyclist being severely insured and dying in the area.
Was the crackhead coming to work and had a hard time parking the car?
Ouch! I bet that smarted...
I worked at that location for a year. Parking is pretty secure, we only had one crack head bust through the parking lot fence in her car, flying though the air and landing on two trucks upside down. She was fine. Cars, not so much.
I repeat you're a dumb--s.
You can google the crime statistics by zip code.
RUN,
I worked at the facility off of Rankin, Chisholm trail. I was there over 3 years, started at $16 had 1 pay raise and nothing the following 2 years.
Say good by to your home life as you are on call 24/7 generally working 12+ hour days, including all weekend.
Absolutely no room to progress in that facility, left for a much better company.
Google weatherford hardy road and the address comes up
You are a dumb--s.
Rankin and 45 is considered the hardy road location. Its not the best location but you will be fine. Just don't walk alone at night to your vehicle. I believe they have security. Congrats on the job.
The position is thru a contact company where we will not be actual employees. I guess I would not have my career murdered because I would be a temporary employee. They are offering $15.00 for a chance at a technicality challenging opportunity to break into the oil industry at the ground level.
Thanks for any and all suggestions.
it's hard 2 believe they are hiring.
Oh my!
I would worry more about the company robbing your pockets and murdering your career.
Rankin Road and 45 area. I was not given the exact address just the general area.
You must be referring to the hardy road area. Very bad area but just like other Houston areas. I fed would not want to be out when its dark nor leave anything in your car. Pull up crime report.com and enter the address or zip. It will show you crimes in area.
what is the location?
