What's up with all the Rig Engineering Directors? Do they really need that many? How about sales?

Nonsense. I don't buy it. Orders are crazy low - Need to cut them down a bit to fall in line with everyone else. Sales too...
Engineering always seems full but that's because their work moves with the business. When it is slow Sales doesn't get picky about what they sell and all those weird goofy one off products come out and get sold (at a terrible margin) and they have a 20-30 year old standard that must be updated which needs a TON of engineering. They are probably about right, now Sales is another story. No idea when they ever take a real hit.
