This company took away my peace of mind, stressed me out on the daily, and demoralized me on a daily basis. I curse the day I ever responded to their recruitment email through careerbuilder!

I don't think it's a "nasty" driven decision, but an emotional driven decision. I'm not in HR, bit would encourage you to think in the bigger picture. Some people are shifting their emotions to meet the needs of the families they serve and are trying to serve.

No, CMS has need for masters level or licensed in certain positions, and maybe the CHE positions or HCC's aren't in the social work positions that are needing the msw. And, play nice with others on this forum, we are all in this mess together. 🙂
I think if you read my posts, I did not say the OP was wrong in expressing their opinion. Sad this forum is only allowing for one view of events, and not accepting of others views.

People are losing income, security, and health insurance and you come preaching about the "big picture." Sorry Humana doesn't care about me, or the members it's dropping from ACA either. Why should anyone care about CMS.

I'm not an insensitive troll. If CMS has certain requirements, with degrees or licenses, and you don't have those, then, yes, CMS is saying you aren't appropriate for the role. As horrible as the layoffs are, it isn't last minute, we have been given two months, severance options and the possibility to go to other roles, if we are appropriate and there are openings. Insulting me for my opinion or view isn't helping. I am trying to understand what happened and was offering a point of view.
So we aren't all getting laid off. It's that the big picture? Or are you implying that CMS made MF and humana operate in secrecy until the last minute? Is CMS the one denying me the opportunity to find another job?

I love the people I work with but don't trust the company now and never will again. What they did to our coworkers is ridiculous and uncaring. Humana cares my a $$ Let's see them meet these numbers when we all mutiny.
