A guy in sales actually told me that they don't want you to sell more than X amount if that moves you into the next tier of commissions.

Oracle has the most complicated comp plan designed to screw people out of money. Why would you even want to deal with that BS?

Every oracle sales rep has been screwed one way or another at some time: reduced commission schedule, increased quanta on q4 to keep down their commissions, mysterious offsets to sales from foreign lands, etc, etc

Here is something for the lawyers to look into: what does the bonus plan for the people in the sales commissions comp dept look like - are their bonuses determined by how much commissions they steal from sales reps? Me thinks so. Go and have a look as part of the depositions and make it public in court
