Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

Lowe's corporate ax has fallen

There were at least 10 - 15 let go from all levels of merchandising and LG Sourcing this morning in the Mooresville office. Many had significant tenure.

Niblock is a piece of sh--. His only function is to drive up the stock price not caring what damage he does to the employees. The same employees that made this company great he will throw you away to save a buck. So if you still work for Lowe's collect your paycheck. They will dispose of you in a heartbeat.. So don't do more then you have too.. Working for this company for so many years I learned it a long time ago that you mean nothing but $$$ that costs them from making more $$$..

Lies appear to be the new standard.

No trust

No respect

Management is clueless

Corporate Greed has taken over...they could have sacrificed but instead cut the oldest with most knowledge and experience.

I hate I gave 16 hard working years of my life to be treated like I was a number expired and kicked out.

No compassion

Heartless Greed

You are a fool to think that a corporation ever values employees over profits.

I worked for them until 6 years ago. When the "GTM" bs started, I could see the handwriting on the wall and left while the getting was good. At Lowest, it's not what you know, but who. I've seen the biggest b*** lickers go straight to director with nothing but a degree and a sense of entitlement, while 20 year employees were let go so that the company could hire a crony out of college for 1/2 the salary, even though they couldn't find their way out of a wet paper bag with a map, flashlight, gps, and a Sherpa guide.

I'm not surprised by anything this company does. I've stopped shopping their stores, because they're always out of stock for whatever it is you need. They push their cheapo store brands at a premium price and if you ever do have to do a special order you best have 2 months to get it, because the order will be messed up or damaged at least twice along the way.

My heart goes out to all the good folks who were let go yesterday. Unfortunately, I'm sure the Crony in Chief and his minions were all perfectly fine and will live another day to screw over the next crop in about 3 years when they "recalibrate our staffing model".

Sounds Like par for the course with this Company!! Years ago under previous CEO Lowe's was a great company to work for. Now it is only how do those at the top get more and to hell with whoever goes and long as they get theirs! What a shame!!!
