You don't sound so very outstanding to me.
I don't think they really care and in fact, less to pay for so why would they?
I never go to these things. It's been decades since we "worked together at AiResearch." Since before Bossidy it's been one thing after another, very few of them good.
Meh there are better and more mature ways to handle this. Such as finding another job and leaving. That should be the goal and priority.
Why is that a loud message? Higher ups will probably just think "awesome, now i get 5 free burgers, I am doing so great!"
Honeywell has a real problema and pretending everything is OK is a big mistake. Engineers are the backbone of an engineering company and the discontent is showing. I think I'll pass on the lunch as well.
