Next month it's my 1st year anniversary. I was hired as a loader seasonal. At that time i was motivated to work for Lowes. I would get all carts into the store as quick as i could. Come into the store, either help costumers or as if seasonal needed help. The seasonal (the hardest working manager i ever seen). Noticed my work ethic and 2 weeks of being at Lowes, i stopped being a Loader to a seasonal CSA. Got my fork truck and reach truck license right away. I'm a natural leader, basically was the managers right hand till the end of the season. Great 3 months.
Then they started to ask me if i was staying. I told them i did. And i apply for PSA, because of the hours. 5-2 mon to fri. But all lumber employees quit. So they gave me the b---s--- story of how it's a better career choice and everything and i stupidly listen to them.
I would spend another 3 months as seasonal (no benefits). No DM, no other CSA. They had Pro Service to cover Lumber. They are lazy as F***. Pro CSA only likes solo projects, refuses to work in a team or anything Pro related. Then there are 2 Pro specialist. 1 overworks because the other does not. It's just a pay check for him, he will never get fired because his dad buys at least $7000 every 2 weeks.
9 months now... Still no Manager, no other FT CSA or PT. The zone 4 Service Manager that we were getting. Had to work in electrical most of his time. Because he was the DM there, And they don't have enough people. Last week he fell on ice and fracture his eye socket. No work on when he will be back.
Yet again the whole department falls under my shoulder. Hate this play. Just going to wait for my Anniversary to move out of here.
