Trump has already announced today that H1B reform is not a priority for him. It looks like the corporate dweebs have convinced him cheap labor is necessary. So plan on at least maintaining the status quo.

I can imagine some drunk guy sitting in a bar somewhere in the US going "The tik a jiiiiiirbs!" before going on a rant about how some Indian took his well-deserved job at Apple. He holds a degree after all! A high school degree!

Let's raise the H-1B salary requirement though. What will it achieve? Foreigners will earn more! Yay! How great!

That seems to be Trump's strategy: Push high-paying tech jobs out of the country and/or ensure that foreigners in the US earn more. At the same time, bring low-paying manufacturing jobs back to the US.
