A decade ago the only thing that saved Intel sorry and inefficient x86 designs was far superior process than everyone and especially AMD who's designers took more risk and were better for it till they stumbled for a bit.

Now BK and TMG has fumbled any process lead and instead of having Canon now and Ice next year instead are on Kaby and Coffee next year, two more 14nm with out density, performance, or cost help.
