Any ideas? Curious and worried

Whatever news can't be good news for SHC. One the flip side they done it too themselves and from corporate level to store level will be affected by it.
Best of luck to all .
You will survive.
There is life after Sears.
I'm in a store that does okay compared with other SHC properties. So I don't expect we will be closing this time around. I'm not in denial; I know it is coming sooner than later. But having friends and family and HQ, I'm worried for them. And what ticks me off is that the CEO has ruined a company, and is hurting good people's lives, but yet likely will come out just fine with his personal bank account.
@LZL5nQp-xvd good luck!
My meeting is@ 10, my teammate's is at noon. We're both TPMs & all I can say is THANK GOD! It's so heartbreaking to see what this company's "leadership" has done to it, despite everyone's best efforts to keep it afloat.
It ain't over till Panda can't turn a profit.
Buckets of tears from those who will now have to do the work of the downsized.
@LZL5nQp-ubo Let's say an asteroid will collide with earth tomorrow destroying the earth and everything on it, you knew it was coming but hey 'why worry when YOU have absolutely NO control over it' eh? Great advice, replace asteroid with any other terrifying situation you have no control over , burglar, cancer, etc but hey it's ok you have absolutely NO control over it so it's fine...now that's crazy.
'Curious and worried'
Why worry about something YOU have absolutely NO control over
That's crazy
Q4 results says sears lost and Amazon won. 30 rooms multiplied by 4 people an hour from 8am-2pm minus an hour for lunch...600 positions roughly plus open positions. 700-800 total at corporate. Lots of extra security. Lots of last minute sample store purchases. Cafeteria raises prices as they lose customers. Tomorrow more people walking around the pond.
Whatever happens know that life goes on after SHC, it is a truly vile organization and while in the short term you may hurt financially in the long term you will be ok and better for it if you are let go.
The fact that they scheduled the earnings release for tomorrow suggests this will be a bigger event than people may expect. Typically a really wretched report requires big action, and this quarter will certainly be wretched.
@LZL5nQp-mfk don't give up your day job, comedy doesn't seem to be your thing
My guess is things will happen quick and by 10AM, I would imagine close to 500 cut across corporate (Hoffman, State St etc.) Purely speculating it wouldn't surprise me if Kmart takes a serious hit tomorrow, even shutting it down altogether wouldn't surprise me, we're in the final chapter of everything after all.
well... after a little bit of early morning dew its supposed to be sunny until around 7pm when it will get dark and the moon will then rise in the eastern sky
I am not sure what will come but I just hope for my sanity it is tomorrow and quick. Best guess, they have satellite APMs and keep the big stores pretty much how they are.
