SW to do RN's job???? How and why? SW are not clinically trained. Such disservice to the Mbrs! Ridiculous.

No matter what anyone says I would not practice outside of the scope of my profession, that is putting your license at risk.
SW discussing health conditions will open a can of worms, that is NOT our expertise!!!!
The SNP MSW will have a roster discuss health conditions and do plan of cares as well as give resources.
I'm not an RN, why do I need to be covering clinical? What happened to the Interdiciplinary team concept?????
Snp nurses are not allowed to task social workers.... we are supposed to find resources for members..... I'm not a social worker! Why do they think we are interchangeable? 77
I know SWer in SNP have taken over the rosters of the HCCs, whose positions were eliminated, but haven't heard of any changes otherwise. Is this happening now in other areas and if so, in what departments?!?
