Why 'experience' can hurt tech workers in Silicon Valley

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/why-experience-can-hurt-tech-workers-in-silicon-valley-150250224.html

"To wit, data compiled from salary firm PayScale, which compared data in 2016 from 18 different tech employers, revealed the median age of workers at companies such as Facebook, LinkedIn and SpaceX is 29, with only three companies — IBM (IBM), Oracle (ORCL) and HP (HPQ) — reporting a median employee age over 33."

Oh, I'm sure Ginni & her cabal of co-conspirators will be enacting a plan very soon to ensure that median employee age figure gets much lower.

I would like to see how many are H1B people. Also from the chart, it appears these company just want to save cost and not hire experienced people who typically cost more (salary & benefits) and expect more and don't drink the company's koolaid.

I guess having a goal to be able to afford a home and raise a family in your 30 and 40's is too much to ask for in Silicon Valley. If you watched the TV Show on HBO (Silicon Valley) you would know how delusional and crazy most of the people are from this area.

Based on this article I guess, Zuckerturd might want to start thinking about his retirement plan soon.

IBM (IBM), Oracle (ORCL) and HP (HPQ)

And if you look at the front page of this site, you'll notice that the three companies at issue have a prominent spot in the 'most active' rank at the top of the page...

Hmmm...
