I would love to see this company crash and burn. What I love is they left Wilkes County because the county people weren't educated enough and they couldn't get quality talent. Then they have Niblock. LOL I had much rather have the people that was let go working for me. If I could I would hire them all.

Just some ideas why lowes is in trouble. Niblock came to lowes in the early 90's as director of tax. He has no idea what retail is about. When Larry stone left the decline started. Niblock is a numbers guy, lowes needs a leader with knowledge about retail. The board of directors need to be held respondle for the action of niblock.
They did let the ones that were strong with highest performance reviews go inour area. The weaker ones that wont speak up and just agree to do what their told left.
Changed job titles and instantly demoted

It is a popularity game like High School but this is what you get working for a low level job. Lot's of weak kiss a-- people willing to stab anyone in the back. Lowe's is done. I am going to short it prior to earnings. They are going to try and spin the earnings into something good so they don't leave. That's why they are doing all these changes before 3/1. To show positive. Don't be fooled. This company is going down hill fast. You can't keep running a Unix system this day in age and talk about future. There is NO WHERE for Lowe's to go. They are stuck. BTW yes a lot of talent is gone from Lowe's I have seen it myself.
Ego has nothing to do with it. He is right. In my 15 years at lowes I have seen bright talented people come and go because they could not advance in the company. Lowes promotes those whom are most popular not those who are most qualified. If lowes is so great why have they fallen 26billon behind home depot since 1989 when they both had 2 billion in revenue?
