Same at my store with Huge lines and no labor. It was sad to see how disappointed customers were and how stressed out Team Leaders were. When they stopped caring about TMs and started to focus on the bottom line, that's when it started to collapse. No one seems to be in charge anymore or care about TMs. It would be great to get some good news some day.

We used to pride ourselves on superior customer service and having no lines at the check out. Our customer service team had their labor cut to where we had lines all the time back into the aisles and customers, who spent hundreds of dollars on holiday foods, having to bag their own groceries.the team almost never had baggers and tm from other depts were called up front to bag, repeatedly during shifts..a s---show all due to bad kronos scheduler and labor cuts to pay wall street

well labor % generally gets reduced during the holiday season due to increased sales... but yeah same story everywhere all year round. just enough labor to cover shifts and get bodies on the floor or behind the counter.

don't even think about actually training someone lol, too much labor.

Ours went smoothly. Beat projections, have baaarely any seasonal left overs (candy, cookies, and the like). We usually shine during the holidays. What worries me is the holiday aftermath when things go back to slowing down. That's when the real sh-- show exists.
