Does anyone know who decides how much merchandise comes to each store? Or how it's decided?
I have read a lot of posts here about empty shelves and such, but the store I work in is still receiving more merchandise than we can possibly floor. (Not nearly as much as in years past, but we're still busting at the seams.)
Just wondering if anyone has any insight. It has always been a mystery to me how these things are decided. There's another Sears store about 30 miles away, with pretty similar sales figures, that's got a lot of unused space.
