Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Ex-Honeywell Networking Group?

As Honeywell has been laying off lot of people, is anyone aware of networking group (online or in-person) of local ex-Honeywell employees? I was one of the people impacted during the recent reduction in the Phoenix. area.

It would be helpful to be able to network and share information as we navigate the path to transition to land on the new opportunity (share tips and info on unemployment filing, training opportunities, good and not-so-good recruiters, celebrate when someone lands in their next position or starts a new business, etc.).

I understand Honeywell does offer Right Mgmt services for a short time after one signs the severance and it mainly virtual assistance with resumes, etc.

In addition to ex-Honeywell, if anyone knows of good local networking groups would be good to know.. there are a bunch on Linked-in, Meetups, etc...

Right mgmt has one thing going for them. The resume writers they have on staff. Use that service. Pronto. They are well educated and very helpful.

All else with right, meh. Networking with the others laid off is helpful, but going to Career Connectors with Jessica Pierce was very helpful. And free. They help to do a lot and they have nothing to do with Honeywell.

These are the dill weeds you worked with? Pretty sure you don't need anything from them. Raytheon is hiring. If you are willing to move.. there is much Aerospace work out there.
