Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Honeywell creates hatred around workforce

Honeywell has created such a hostile work environment that employees not only hate the company, they hate the managers and the leadership.

The hate is running so deep that ex-employees go out of there way to Communicate how bad the company and policies are to outsiders and other customers and suppliers.

Several employees have gone to work for customers and avidly a doing business with Honeywell.

One I ran into last week actually told me that he personally advocated for Rockwell Collins I've Honeywell

I think you missed the point of the karma post. If you're trying to destroy the company, you're really just destroying your co-workers livelihood, as they are still struggling to survive during all this chaos. The company is going away (being sunk and sold off), we all know that. Don't make it more difficult (stressful) for your co-workers as it burns. Allow it to play out while still working together to keep the stress level down.

I have been boycotting all Honeywell products since the mid 90's. Ever since they destroyed the quality of Fram filters.

If you go out of your way to hurt Honeywell, you are hurting those who still stuck with working there. I can't respect that attitude. At the same time, I'm amazed at how Honeywell has managed to alienate its employees for 15 years. Mostly on DC's watch, but also a lot before that. See Jim Pinto's weblogs. 2002-2011 http://www.jimpinto.com/weblog/honeywellarchive.html and 2011-2012 http://www.jimpinto.com/weblog/honeywellog.html

I boycott anything with the Honeyhell name on it. This means no thermostats, no furnace fimters, anything made by Fram, Autolite, etc. I refuse to buy anything where my money could make its way back to HON. At the same time, I do my best to cost HON as much as possible via lost contracts, reworks, etc. Fck you Dave, u fcking goombah.

Karma is real. The Universe will respond to actions with equal (and sometimes stronger) reactions. That goes for Dave and ALL of us. Let's try to remember that when we go about "going forward". Despite the negative connotations, fellow employees, "stick with" not "us"="Honeywell", but "us"="co-workers".

When you treat people with such contempt, it comes back to you. Way to wreck a company Dave.

I'm a current HON employee and I tell our customers and suppliers what really goes on and they have avoided him when possible. My goal is to drive down sales as much as possible.
