Thrilled to see that the Teamsters 1145 refused the contract that Honeywell presented, it's time a group stands up to the monster.

I'm sure Honeywell will sell/license to a 3rd party (non-union) company to fit their new Software/Industrial strategy (Toronto/Tucson to Celestica)
Thanks Fred!
1145 Contract expires January 31, 2017
What's the latest word on 1145? Are they on strike?
South bend is locked out. For 9 months now. Honeywell is spending millions to keep the union out rather then give a good contract. Those fools. Of course there making millions by RIFs. Watch out.
Hehe "strike" while the iron's hot. I see what you did there. Hehe.
South Bend is a lockout, rather than a strike, correct?
More power to the 1145. Lots of very talented assemblers, technicians, machinists, material handling specialists, carpenters, and a whole host of trades that have given their life blood to Honeywell. As an engineer I always appreciated the strong work ethic of the 1145. This was the union that made Honeywell great long before Allied Signal acquired Honeywell and corporate culture was based in Minneapolis ( Minnesota Nice as opposed to New Jersey 'cut and slash' culture). An 1145 hardline strike would put a serious crunch to commercial, space and defense aerospace within aerospace. Darius . . . Wake up for gods sake . . . Dave C has set you up for a big fall.
1145 teamsters is Minneapolis and surrounding suburbs.
Where is 1145? Good luck as I know south bend us struggling.
Good, hope they bring Honeywell to there knees. They can't broke local 9 in Southbend. Been locked out for 8 months. They'll spend 100 million to keep out the union rather then give a good contract.. Fools.
