C-level executives typically have employment contracts that include stipulations for exit payments. Blame the CEO and Board of Directors if you think it was excessive. It likely was because the difference in pay between the median worker and upper manager is extreme.

Well she did work for the company for about two years after all. Wondering when they cough up an announcement about her leaving. Unless she's going to work for BJ, which seems incredibky unlikely, this crap about giving her all that stock now due to an"change in control" is a complete crock.
