It just says Q1. Sounds like not all at the same time.

If it isnt fake when will this round 2 furlough start for HBT?
Not fake. Copied directly from the email from HBT. Was mentioned in the town hall QA today.
It's real - for Canada and Mexico. Looks like everyone has to take a turn funding Cote's retirement.
Plagarized from previuos HBT communications with some changes in the middle. Look close and you can see where the "language" changes. I'm suspecting a recently RIF'd and disgruntled employee is trying to stir up trouble or have a laugh at our expense.
If fake it is nicely done. (Sarcasm)
The kind of language i would expect.
Fake
OK. I have not seen this but the furlough last week (Jan 2 - 9th) caught me by surprise. Always happened to the other guy (or group.) Will wait until I get the official notice.
Not sure what to think about the furlough and my future with the company and division.
Get back to work you lazy a$$
Is AERO going to announce a Q1 furlough?
Only the manufacturing side excluded, we (aero) have seen that movie, big fcuking drama
It's not all of HBT! Only the manufacture side.
And you thought it was over? I'm in Aero and editing for our announcement.
All the best
MESSAGE FROM HBT LEADERSHIP
Dear Colleague:
We know how hard you are working, every day, to bring your personal best to HBT. We are so proud of the work we’re doing together to connect people around the world with better places to live and work. But even with our growth headset, strong customer focus and Talent Powerhouse mentality, we are challenged by continued headwinds in our markets. In the fourth quarter, we lacked momentum overall in HBT, and as a result we’re not where we need to be to start 2017 off right.
We need to manage costs and improve our financial position as we put all our efforts on growth. And to do that successfully means making some tough decisions. Therefore, we are asking almost all of the HBT team (direct manufacturing and revenue generating roles are excluded) to take 5 days of furlough during the first quarter of 2017, at 50% pay with benefits remaining untouched (i.e., only 2.5 days of pay will be deducted)
The HBT leadership team decided to implement a furlough to reduce the need for reductions in force (RIFs) because it keeps our team together. We value the teamwork you have demonstrated over the last few months as we strengthen our business and our future.
We will implement this action in accordance with all local laws and practices, so you will hear more details from your local Human Resources representatives and managers.
We are keenly aware of the sacrifices we’ve asked you to make this year, and we want you to know that each short-term cost containment action is being taken with a focus on a long-term plan for growth. We are in overdrive on sales and NPI launches, differentiating our portfolio with advanced software solutions, and making investments in our sales organizations. Combined with our top-to-bottom commitment to our guiding principles, we’re positioning ourselves for success.
More details will follow on how this action will be implemented for your team and location. Thank you for all you do to help us deliver on our commitments to our customers, and to work safely.
Where? When?
