Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

If you accept a job at a competitor's company, do you get escorted out the door right away without staying 2 weeks? Is this an Intel policy?

Does Intel have some kind of policy where if you go work for a competitor (i.e. AMD), when you give your manager notice, you get walked out the door immediately?

In other words, you don't get to stay two weeks or anything like that? If you accept a job at a competitor's company, security or someone will escort you out the door?

Thank,s @2qgv. That make sense. However, it was this exact thread where my comment was deleted, not the entire thread, making me wonder if they do a search of the word Admin and then press the delete button. Maybe I'll try using AA and see if that works out better. I've noticed it happening a fair amount to me.

I remember seeing your posts @2jqj, haven't noticed that there were gone. Anyways, sometimes when you respond to malicious post that admins later delete, your post gets deleted as well, as a part of "malicious conversation". Maybe that was the case with yours. It's more likely than it was deleted just because you used the word "admin" (my two cents).

Oh. I'm going to guess the troll(s) are back saying bad things about the admin, and the admin is doing a mass deletions on any and all posts with the word 'Admin' which I had in my posts that were deleted (I referenced being an ex Admin as in Administrative Assistant). Maybe I'll use the full tittle and see if that's safe. Only if they don't use the willdcard when deleting! LOL

Wow... more of my comments deleted when I did nothing but speak (nicely) about my experience. Absolutely nothing that crossed the line in any way whatsoever. Makes one wonder who/why your comments are being deleted.

hmmmmm....

OP grow some balls and don't tell your manager where you're going. Just quit and that's it, sayonara.

I left for a competitor and all I got was a request for a meeting with a lawyer that was trying to tell me I couldn't tell my new employer the color of the sky if they asked... ummm "yeah... ok."
