New Unannounced OT Policy

So some Torrance employees noticed that when working last Saturday that they were getting straight time. WTF. It turns out that vacation and holidays no longer count as time worked for overtime considerations. The bosses did not even know this new rule. Maybe they thought nobody would notice.

If I don't have 40 hrs by Friday I won't be working the weekends. Honeywell and their bs policies can s--- my a$$. They are putting isc managers in a pickle with this stupid policy. Good luck getting people to work weekends for straight time .... It's going to be interesting to see how this plays out. By the way, if you worked last weekend you should check your time card. Saturday came up as straight time when it should have been time and a half. Sunday was correct (double time).

Yup. They are farming us employees for revenue because they have nothing new or desireable for the market. Cote is propping up the house of cards until the day he sells off, and blames the crash on Dairyass.

This is nothing....wait until they put toll booths on the turnstiles and charge for on-site parking. Those revenue generating measures are right around the corner.

Paystubs for last Saturday haven't been issued yet. You will see the OT on your next check.

In the US, OT is unpaid for engineers. Why would you work OT?

Don't know where the snot hole blasting Torrance works. Obviously a superior employee. HR direct is not up to date with this and many "Policies"

Maybe you should go to HR direct and read the new policies. They changed alot of the policies. Again in Aero we received a corporate email telling us to read the policies. Maybe you guys at Torrance should pay attention to company emails a little better. This company no longer sits you down and explains every little thing to employees. In case your site is the exception, there is no communication anymore. Employees must be smart and read from now on. Sorry that your site got s---ered, but thats their hope that employees won't pay attention

This training occurred late last year. It's also in the policies that you can view in hr direct.

This was not unannounced at AERO. It was rolled out to all the managers last year. The new OT re is only hours physically worked count toward the OT calculation. Vacation, sick time, holidays, etc no longer count toward OT or DOT. The result was seen recently in an AERO site where less than 5 people volunteered to come in the Saturday after January 2nd. Seems like no one wants to work a weekend for straight time.

Weird.
