So our store manager told us changes are coming and will be finalized by next Tuesday. They had to sign a confidentiality agreement at their meeting yesterday. He did say he would tell us if a rumor was flat out untrue.
The 1 SM for 2 stores is not happening and HR is not being consolidated. He was asked point blank if the DM position was going away and he dogged the question, which really confirmed it for me.
Our HR told one DM in a private conversation that no one would lose their job (still work at lowes in some capacity).
We also one store manager was fired today because he leaked the info.
