CSA 5 is a new position that will be created solely for those impacted by this restructure. Will not be available to anyone else going forward.

Lowe's handled this so wrong. They kept telling people to find other positions and unless it was a position like 2 steps down or more they wouldn't consider you cause they want to reduce your salary. It's a joke. I am still a CSA 5 and have another month plus left do to FMLA. I was turned down for part time and a specialist position which I did for years. They don't want these jaded people. All they want is a-- kissers who are inexperienced to mold them into what they want and pay them much less. We have an ASM who is a woman and well she is hungry. They only pay her 42K a year. That's 10K less then I made last year as a CSA 5. She will jump through hoops for the store manager who BTW sits in his office paging code 3's everywhere. It's a clueless system that has no idea what customer service is. I love stealing time doing nothing.
It was not a 10% pay cut it was 45% of what they were making. let me put it to you like this. Several people who stayed got cut 10 DOLLARS an hour not 2 which would have been 10%.
Now that I am no longer there because I didn't sell my soul out They are trying to screw me.
I received a letter stating that if I did not give them Info on why I am not working then I would be terminated I thought I already had been. The letter was dated 2/14/2018 and they said I had 14 days to
contact HR at store level and or call the number on the letter. So I called the number and it is a invalid number and I received the letter on Friday which was the 10th day. The way I see It if i was still employed on 2/14 I should be getting paid for it and because this happened I was disqualified for unemployment. They said that there was a mess up and I will be getting paid and technically was employed thru 2/3 and would get paid through then well I got paid today and It wasn't a full pay check like I was told it would be. Now I have to go up there and cause a scene.
Lowes s---s to work for. Corporate needs to make the store employees happy and then things will get better. None of the store employees, including me - are happy. The store manager and asms are all clueless to what happens in the store. The asms (2) that were laid off from the store I work at were the good ones - the ones that actually got their hands dirty and helped the employees. Most of the asms they kept are all a**holes and don't do much. It's sad that the corporate level employees value feedback from customers, but not their own employees. Lowes is a joke. If it wasn't for the good health insurance they offer, I and 3/4 of the rest of the employees wouldn't be there.
Actually, if your position was eliminated csa 5 is the position your given. You are given a year to find another full time permanent position within the company and during that time, you are not eligible for any merit raises but you do get to keep your current rate of pay during. After the year, if you haven't found a full timepermanent position within the company, at that time you will be terminated.
what is the pay scale for this position? I'm hearing a 10% cut on current pay?
