I have had a gut feeling that Networking will get hit and hit hard as we are a side show for Dell. They bought into it with out grasping that its not a commodity 90 day sale which is the company and the sales forces model.
I am looking hard as I half suspect they will axe the whole group, announce a partnership with Cisco again and cut us and all the managers. Thus getting them all in one room at the same time.
Dell networking is growing with the release of Dell Networking Certification test. As for the comment about the loss of sales agents because of Networking - that is because Sales wants to make support preform a full network deployment configuration instead of SELLING the customer a Pro-Deployment.
So far networking is looking solid but if it changes I'll post on here
Dell never was going to grow the F10 business in the market place which was long dominated by Cisco, Juniper. Got late to the game and then beat up the sales folks and threatened them with PIPS. Nothing new . Lost a lot of good sales guys over the years and they continue to do the same. Nothing will change if you do not take control of your life.
Are you saying that all have been called in the same room already
