Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Reorg because of no growth, but which group is to blame? Is M&PM gone or not?

Mahoney said this whole reorg is to enhance growth, but why has growth stagnated?

M&PM is the reason. They do not know anything about their product, they gave no clue if any item is obsolete or if suppliers are crap for the product they control AND they sit back and demand high margins on everything or else they refuse to approve sales.

Mmmm, lets see 20% margin on no sale or 10% margin on a sale, mmm which one brings growth?

Putting these clowns in the loop to control product is why we have failed to grow.

110 Vee Pees is obviously not enough! We need MORE Veeps s---ing the lifeblood and $40,000,000 salary each year in order to improve!

Companies need people. People don't need companies.

The restructuring (not going to use the word organization with this lot) looks to me like it's intended to make it easier to sell the pesky mechanical stuff without affecting the precious electronic (can we all say software? I knew you could.) bits. The company that I came to work for in 1968 is about to be blown to smithereens, which is a shame, but I guess that's the way of the world.

When the Chairman of the Board (with an extra-large chair) is also the CEO & the board is a bunch of globalist hedge fund lackeys there is no accountability in a corporation.

Most American corporations are run these days without organic growth, but more about either setting up to be acquired, or their own acquisitions. That keeps the Roulette Wheel of Wall St. running. Honeywell is obviously looking to be drawn & quartered. The meat cleavers are out.

Correct. There is no organic growth in AERO. The days of customers pining for Honeyhell products are waaaaay behind us. The industry is getting wise to honeyhells antics of selling overpriced junk and then refusing to support it in the field. Oh you have a problem with your avionics? We'll call the 800 number and talk to someone in Indiar who has no idea what you're even talking about. Or you could call our field service reps.....Oh wait..... HON shtcanned all those guys. Better to call Garmin from the start. 2017 is gonna be an eye opening year for the clowns at the top in AERO.
