Why are so many LNS jobs advertised? Why are they all leaving?

I am a vendor for Lowe's, in the garden center, I have been for many years each season. I can tell you I work pretty damn hard! Your comment offends me.

All LNS positions should go away. All 'specialists' should go away.

I utterly disagree with this comment. Lowe's orders the plants based upon sales. Does it always work? No. Would a better variety work? Yes. This is the wrong forum for this conversation. There is a serious issue here and many people are turning to this site for information.

The LNS should be OK. But Lowe's must eliminate paying these vendors in OSLG...they don't do enough work or have enough responsibility to warrant Lowe's paying them. Pay your employees slightly more and they can take up the slack, easily...we already do for the most part as it is.

If you want to know how big businesses washes each others hands, consider the plant vendors they use for their stock. The fact that Lowe's lets some monster nursery decide what they should sell is stupid beyond belief. We have so many plants that never sell that it's dumb...I know what sells but these companies send reps who wouldn't know a begonia from a iris if you stuck it up their a--. Great to have a business agreement, but don't buy into this "You need x number of this every month crap." All that does is allow them to overproduce with no consequences...more greed less responsibility. Kinda like corporate welfare.
