One last thing, prepare to be scrutinized to oblivion if you are a department manager. They will try to get rid of anyone as quickly as possible. Anything from Dup scans to DSHR issues. The communication has been sent out to look over low performing managers like a hawk. I would suggest coming up with a plan soon before the new quarter begins in February.

As a DM for the last 15 years, I can tell you that I bust my a-- every day I'm at work. We just hit a new sales tier, we don't have enough people.. now we're about to see 13 employees loose their job. Sure.. not all the DMs are great... but guess what... there are at least 5 of us who are read to be ASMs or have been a Zone Manager before.

SSEI is a joke.. corporate keeps making it harder and harder to achieve.

The stores are the backbone of the company.. .yet they've decided to invest 3.5 billion in techonologies..

Our current technology is crap... it doesn't work right and half the information is always wrong..

Selling Center is a joke.. M20 is an antiquated piece of junk...

But the corporate office always get's paid more.. they are always hiring...

Lowe's has been downright EMBARRASSED on Wall Street more than once.. Moorseville needs to cut their fat.. not in the stores.

What other job can you loose billions of dollars yet retain your position as a SVP or EVP...

Disgusting... I hope this company eventually goes bankrupt.

I hate to say it when i worked at the orange box they use to talk about how slowe's lays people off, it s---s in every way. im only speaking for the DM's in my store they don't do sht, but whinning complaint, also customer service skills they don't have. how does slowe's make some of these people stupidvisors. im just talking about my store. as a fellow associate i hate to see people lose thier jobs, but sometimes change is good, get rid of ceo and lazy store managers
