I would usually recommend you talk to HR about your issues but they seem to have gone AWOL with the rest of your leaders
Have you seen how they run the online side of things. It is a disaster. No boxes to ship orders, no employees to fulfill orders, no merchandise to put in the boxes, no tape, no paper, complaints every day. Online would not make it either.
I think the only option if Sears were to seriously want to survive is to liquidate the stores business and focus online. Amazon don't have a single store but are the retail giants. At Sears we still have huge online visibility and are probably a top 10 website here at home for website hits.

I'm not dub enough to "keep the faith in Eddie". I hope you were being sarcastic. Eddie has no clue how to run an online business. He's tried for years and failed miserably. His plan is to shut down the stores and pretend to run an "online business" when he doesn't have the logisitics nor product nor technology to do so just so he can claim Sears Holdings still "exists" as a way to buy to until filing bankruptcy so the bk court cannot claw back any of the real estate he stole and dumped in his REIT. Grow up, get real, and face the fact that Eddie stuck it to you, stuck it to you HARD!
Store mgrs are totally stealing time. They are lucky if they work 25 hours some weeks. Always an excuse to leave or take off, never working their nights. The assts have to punch a clock now so you know they're working their 48, but store mgrs? They should be made to punch or submit their time somehow. It's so not fair when full timers are at 30 hours. Open your eyes Eddie!
I have worked in IR fulfilling online orders and let me tell you it is a disaster. No boxes at Christmas, putting items in used boxes like Tide, Repack boxes, or any other box we could find, no real packing tape just some real cheap tape that would not hold and broke easily, no merchandise half the time and package pick-up was only twice a week so peoples orders could sit for a week before being delivered. I know we ruined a few Christmases. Also, no packing peanuts so we used old paper, old plastic from the clothes or even old newspapers people brought from home.
No way will we compete with anyone much less amazon when we use a box that could fit a 12 pack of papertowels to ship a shirt because we have no other boxes or we just wrap the item in bubble wrap and clear plastic and ship it.
It's not just HQ. None of the salaried managers in our store work even close to FT. 25 hours tops.
The Limited recently shut all their stores to focus JUST on their online dominance and I believe that's where Eddie will eventually take us. He is a smart guy and I have faith in his leadership and where he will take us (despite some bad leadership examples such as this) keep the faith in Eddie!
This is the second post that has noted that the fulltime associates at SHLD HQ work substantially less than 40 hours per week!
I you really want to understand how badly screwed Sears is...Eddie says he's moving toward online sales to members. That means this person who can't master the CAPS LOCK button on their computer is the future.
Why are you complaining? Sounds great to me.
