Day before the inauguration to bury the news. That's a good indication of how much oracle's business s---s.

On Jan 19, flying monkeys with knives for fingers will come flying out the airducts. There will be no firings, layoffs or even reductions in hours. The EVENT will not be televised. No cellphones are allowed at work that day. Facilities has that day off, but can expect a long workday on Inauguration day. Plenty of overtime!

I can confirm this.. My manager called me and said no layoffs. Our group instead is getting a 10% raise (and each employee gets a company car of their choice. I asked for Corvette)
