Oracle's whole licensing model needs to change.
They need to move to a subscription with an Enterprise and Standard Cloud and Enterprise and Standard options for on-premise.
No more perpetual licenses. Do everything as a subscription.

Oracle should just open source the whole company. This way Amazon can rip them off and put some stupid name on it like Aurora or Athena. That way Amazon looks very innovative by ripping others off. It's all going cloud anyway.
