So little accountability for the damaged freight that we are expected to give to purchaser's, customers which have become tired of being handed returned unchecked merchandise,or damaged box's that are so beat to death it's not funny. Lowe's provides jobs that are difficult to do because of the poor tools provided to the associates to do the work required. Computer programs from the 60s. Online programs that are so slow customers just leave. Phones that batteries hold charge for 2 hr at best. Product special orders that require associates constant attention to get to the customer. If Lowe's wants to be in the game, spend money much more wisely. My thoughts

Lowe's understands that it will potentially lose better performing department managers because they are simply out-interviewed.

That is why the displaced DM's will remain on payroll, to potentially replace any failing Service manager during this roll lout. The 5 that are selected based on non-bias third party interviewing metrics BEWARE, you will me monitored heavily over the next 12 months.

I don't mean that you will be walking on egg-shells, but there will be more accountability in the short term. This remains fair and consistent and avoids and lawsuits stemming from bias interviewers.
