NA kitchen closed?!

Did they really just close the NA kitchen with no notice at all or is this just a rumor?

It's true, they are all going away. It would be nice if we could actually make the food we sell, but of course that's not going to happen.

They are closing all the kitchens. Word is they are going with several different prepackaging companies nation wide. It's started hitting some stores already.. salads, pizzas, soups, burritos, pasta dinners, and much more are coming in brown boxes ready to go. packages and relocation offers will be made like the super team thingie in 2016.

Yeah, in NA they didn't warn the TMs because they were concerned the TMs would trash the place. So, TN's showed up to work on Monday and found a closed facility.

Whole foods is the new Sears/Kmart! Long lines, no cashiers, out of stocks galore!

They slowly been outsourcing the production of food for months. This was long in the planning stages and they've are already a slimmed down operation as they have been not hiring and moving facility TMs into the stores. The company doesn't want to deal with the USDA. Also just part of the overall strategy to streamline the company, making it more attractive to investors, possibly buyers.

NA closed as of today, I had heard they were having food safety issues. I am unsure as to what their plans are there - but I'm sure they are offering a severance. MA is open for another couple weeks trying to transition TM to stores. They have been planing (poorly) this since October. I do not know the third commissary to close.
