We heard that 2 weeks ago when there was a closed door meeting with all ASM's, HR and store manager they decided which 5 Dept managers would be offered the new service manager positions. We will find out tomorrow at 3:30 pm who got the jobs. Not sure what will happen to the rest.....

I'm a OPE Specialist and I just got a call to be at the meeting tomorrow
No confirmation in my store yet. We have a mandatory DM meeting scheduled for tomorrow afternoon. The word is that they are even calling in managers who are off. We did however find out that one of our best ASMs is getting the boot. Right now morale is in the toilet at my store and looking to get worse if the news I'm reading is true.
Probably the same way supervisors always decide: Whoever licked the boots the most stays.
Our ASM confirmed he received a letter from lawyers informing him he was being laid off.
He told everyone lol
