Proof? Ok just got to any campus where they did away withe all full time faculty that actually gave av $#it... gotta see if you can find advisor for culinary that knows anything about the industry or the curriculum they teach. Go see how they just plug holes with burned out adjunct instructors and tell them to find "points" at the end of the quarter so that certain F@#k ups can keep passing classes.
Go see how the admissions recruit old disabled people that try to get a culinary bachelor and can't even flip an omelet...
They have instructors that sit in a chair in kitchens and tell students to "just follow the recipe" and directors that completely ignore these non educational situations because adjunct chefs are really not easy to find...at least ones professionals that can actually teach. The whole system is rigged...
What is their contact information anyway? Who do you call there?
Harvard legal should have one of their associates apply to be an admissions rep. at an EDMC school. Once hired, They would see and could document the recruiting practices.
The point is that a person with a PHD is not well educated. We agree! The degrees are trash.
Ten years ago you could have possibly made this claim but not anymore. Today, a degree from AI Culinary qualifies you for McDonalds, Arby's, or possibly Denny's. Bon appetit.
A degree from Argosy on the other hand, is just laughable. So worthless.
And a degree in Graphic Design? Drop your diploma in the trash on your way out the door.
Proof? Ask a person with a Phd from Argosy to write an essay, ask a person with an MBA from Argosy to discuss business, ask a graduate from an AI culinary program basic sanitation questions and then watch him or her cook or bake a classic dish, step into a classroom and look at the equipment and notice the level of challenge for a college level program... proof is right in front of everyone who looks.
Actually, the prospect of Betsy DeVos becoming the head of the DOE has, no doubt, filled the scam artist frauds at EDMC with renewed hope. Let's pray that in this last week of his presidency, Obama still has time to finally pull all government funding from the for profits. It'll take time to undo such an act and in that time, what's left of the for profits will finally sink. You'd think that at this point, such action would be easy and entirely justified.
@LoSjfbx-rsn, the for-profit industry HAS NOT been regulated into obscurity. Many people are still enrolling at EDMC schools.
EDMC (with help from KKR) is one of the largest weak links in the College Meltdown, stealing money from tens of thousands of vulnerable consumers and their families as well as US taxpayers.

Go away Dahn. There's nothing left to blow the whistle on. If you haven't noticed the Feds have regulated the for profit industry into obscurity. Hence the worthless stock and loss of money. Start attacking the non-profits for stealing money from the tax payers.
